Kane & Ella’s New Year’s Eve Proposal on Sullivan’s Island | Charleston Proposal Photographer
Some proposals feel like a dream—and Kane and Ella’s New Year’s Eve proposal on Sullivan’s Island was exactly that. As a Charleston proposal and engagement photographer, capturing moments like this—full of intention, beauty, and emotion—is what makes this work so meaningful. Thoughtfully planned, deeply personal, and full of meaningful surprises, their engagement story is one they’ll remember forever.
Sullivan’s Island has always held a special place in Ella’s heart, making it the perfect setting for Kane to ask the biggest question. As the sun dipped low and the beach glowed with soft winter light, Ella walked onto the sand to find it completely transformed—filled with red roses and delicate baby’s breath, creating a romantic, unforgettable scene against the ocean backdrop.
What she didn’t know was that their families were nearby, hidden just under the bridge, waiting for the perfect moment. After Kane got down on one knee and Ella said yes, their loved ones came out to surprise them, turning an already emotional proposal into a celebration filled with hugs, happy tears, and joy. It was intimate, intentional, and overflowing with love.
